Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CIDPF, wholly owned by Sunset Factoring Partners LLC (“CIDPF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit InsuranceDownPayment.com, submit a form, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, business name, email address, telephone number, referral source, message content, and information you later provide in connection with a financing inquiry. If you choose to continue beyond an initial inquiry, additional business and financial information may be requested, such as insurance documentation, bank statements, ownership information, and other underwriting materials.

We may also collect technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar usage or security information through standard website technologies and service providers.

2. How we use information

We may use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential financing options, communicate about your request, coordinate with participating funding providers, process and route form submissions, schedule calls, maintain and secure the Site, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with law, maintain business records, and improve our services.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to participating funding providers, service providers that support our operations, professional advisers, and other parties at your direction. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, regulation, or a valid governmental request; to protect rights, property, safety, or security; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell mobile opt-in information or SMS consent data. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Funding providers and independent third parties

Participating funding providers are independent businesses and may have their own privacy practices. When information is provided to a funding provider in connection with your request, that provider’s privacy notices, policies, and legal obligations may apply. CIDPF is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

5. SMS/Text communications

If you affirmatively opt in, we may use the mobile number you provide to send informational and marketing text messages consistent with your consent. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us. Opting out of SMS does not prevent us from communicating through other lawful channels when appropriate.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, server logs, or similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, improve functionality, and help protect against misuse. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect Site functionality.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information in our control. However, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should not send sensitive information through a channel unless you are comfortable with its security and have been instructed to do so.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain business and compliance records, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud, and to satisfy legal, contractual, or regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary by information type and business need.

9. Your choices

You may request that we update or correct information you submitted, subject to legal, contractual, and record-retention requirements. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using an available unsubscribe mechanism and may revoke SMS consent by replying STOP or contacting us.

10. State and other privacy rights

Depending on where you reside and how applicable law applies to our activities, you may have additional rights regarding personal information. We will review verifiable requests and respond as required by applicable law. Because CIDPF primarily provides commercial-purpose services, some consumer privacy laws or provisions may not apply to information collected solely in a business-to-business context.

11. Financial privacy notices

This Website Privacy Policy is a general description of our online privacy practices. It is not intended to replace any separate financial-privacy notice or other notice that may be required in connection with a particular product, relationship, transaction, or applicable law. Where a separate notice is required, it may be provided independently.

12. Children

The Site is intended for adults acting for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the Site.

13. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, including scheduling and funding-provider websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above identifies the most recent revision.
